Recover BKF Files with BKF File Recovery Software : BKF Repair to repair corrupt BKF files

BKF Repair– How it works?

There are only three simple steps to follow:

Step 1 (Open)

Go to Start > Programs > SysTools BKF Repair.
Open SysTools BKF Repair, its start-up screen appears as follows:

Open Backup Recovery Software

Click the Deep Scan or Quick Scan button on the toolbar. This will open and load the BKF files.

Corrupt Backup Repair

After that it will ask you to open or select the backup file

Step 2 (Preview)

After this, the software initiates the loading process as shown below:

Step 3 (Extract)

Finally, click the Extract button in the toolbar of the above page to extract the required files and folders from the corrupt BKF files.

As you click the Extract button, you will be asked the location where you want to extract or save these files as shown below:

Browse the location where you want to extract or save the files. The software starts saving the files & folders.

How to Load another BKF file?

After you are through with the process, and you want to repair other corrupt BKF files, you need not start from the first step. Go to the below page, choose the BKF file from the left tree structure, right click and choose Close Backup File option. After the software closes the backup file, click on the Load button and load another file.

After software closes the backup file, Click Load button to load another file.

In the updated version 5.2 of SysTools BKF Repair software, a new feature has been added. It is of "Partial Scan". This feature is helpful to you while recovering data from large BKF files. With the help of this feature, you will be able to extract only some percentage of data rather than recovering complete data from the large BKF file that wastes your time. You can quickly do partial scan if you want to extract only a small portion of data from any large sized BKF file.

For performing Partial Scan function, click on the “Actions” menu and select "Partial Scan" option from the drop down menu as shown below:

As you click on the Partial Scan option, you will see the following window:

Enter a value in the above window.

What is this value? This value is basically the percentage of data that will be extracted from the selected large sized BKF file. (For example – if you enter the value as “25”, then the software will recover 25% of data from the selected BKF file.

After Partial Scan completes, you can preview the selected files as shown below.
